For those of you completely out of the loop, I worked at T bar M camps this summer and had an absolute blast. The ride was long but I learned more about myself than I ever thought imaginable. This upcoming semester I find that it's now time for me to take a leap of faith. I have seventeen hours left to take during my remaining two semester here at A&M and if everything works out it's going to be a blast!
This is my hey, here is everything that you've missed since July 30th.
I got really sick this semester.
I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. Don't look at pictures of it. It's gross.
I'm enrolled in ten hours.
I've been able to build some wonderful friendships.
If you don't know Allison Beck, she's my amateur model. I use her for all of my photography assignments.
The Aggies beat the ever living hell out of baylor.
I'm going to be chunking up the double deuces here in a little over a month.
I have been to the doctor more this year than I have in my entire life.
I've picked the song that I want to have for my first dance when I get married.
...good think I'm single.
I've taken my GRE.
I don't think that I want to go to graduate school.

lost in translation.
I came back to College Station today to realize that there are definitely still some things that I hold on to with more emotions than I thought.
I have two more weeks ofChallenge Course Program at T Bar M camps left. I've been here now since May 12th. That's 79 days. It's been a long summer and I'm ready to hit the text books.
I have two more weeks of

death cab.
Yes, that says Grown 'n' Sexy. |
what's the sound of settling?
Last night I made a genius play list for Float On by Modest Mouse and it gave me 7 songs for death cab. If that isn't a sign from my iTunes God that I need to start listening to them, then I'm not sure what it.
Also, haven't seen The King's Speech? Go rent it right now!

For those of you who used to watch The O.C, I'm hooked. I suggest that song hyperlinked above to anyone in need of some thought worth music.

shortest. week. ever
Sometimes there just isn't enough time to get everything done in a week. I never understand how there are approximately 168 hours in every week, yet some weeks they never seem to go by, while others they go by too quickly. The more I analyze the idea, the more I think that it really just depends on how much you have to do.
I've been reading Carly Gillis' blog (you should check it out @ carlygillis.blogpot.com). She reminded me of how great the series The O.C. was. In honor of her, I present you this: "Sometimes you've got to let the rich people help you."-Ryan Atwood

worth one thousand words.
I've taken up photography this semester after receiving a Nikon D3100 for Christmas. I'm still learning all of the bells and whistles but have a blast taking candid photos. I took about 650 photos of my sweet, youth impact peer, Joy today. They turned out a lot better than I expected! Keep in mind that these are all raw images straight from the camera.

Revising Prose
I bought a $52 book on editing papers. I've learned to get rid of prepositions. This better work.

90 Hours and Hans Zimmer
Planet Earth, Molds and Mushrooms, Plant Geography, and Statistics: These are the classes that I am taking this semester. I know exactly what you're thinking. You're thinking, "The only real class of the four is stats." Maybe, I just really happen to enjoy learning about the earth? Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
90 Hours: I now have 92 hours towards my degree in bio-environmental sciences. For those of you who go to Texas A&M you know what this means for me. This January, I was able to submit my ring audit and order my Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2012 ring! It's going to be a beaut. Ring day falls on April 15 this spring semester. Be looking for those event invites to my ring dunk! Have no fear about not seeing it because there will be pictures everywhere.
Spasms: It's day two of the spring semester and I have already missed three classes. My back and I are certainly not getting along these days. I currently have random muscle spasms in my lower back that typically send me to the ground and unable to move for about an hour. If you were at the REC around 8pm last night and saw a girl in a junior e-walk shirt being wheeled out of the building that was me. I'm sure you got a good stare. Thanks and gig 'em. I'm starting physical therapy in a week or two.
Hans Zimmer: I cannot decide which Hans Zimmer score is my favorite. It's a close tie between The Dark Knight and his work on the Sherlock Holmes score. Both of which have very different styles.
be safe,
-your fellow non-blogger
